The death toll due to the landslide in Wayanad is not stopping. So far 144 people have died. 90 people have died in Meppadi and 32 in Nilambur due to the landslide. It is being told that 192 people injured due to this accident are being treated in various hospitals. Due to the rescue team not reaching the affected areas, the number of missing people has increased to 98. According to the Child Welfare Committee, 150 children have been kept with other people in a camp in Meppadi. Psychological help is also being given to the children.
