Due to heat and heat wave in Punjab, there is an atmosphere of commotion all around. The temperature is not showing any signs of decreasing. At many places it has crossed 45 degrees. On the other hand, people going out for their daily work are facing problems. 

In Amritsar of Punjab tepmprature here has crossed 45 degrees. People are facing problems due to heat wave. Traffic on the roads is also being affected. On the other hand, due to this heat the influx of tourists has also been affected. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature is likely to increase further in the coming week. The temperature can even cross 48 degrees. From this we can estimate what effect the rise in mercury is going to have on the heat.
