“Pakistan is a factory of lies, it always engages in false propaganda during war”- Vij

Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh-

Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Anil Vij said that Pakistan is a “factory of lies” and has always spread false propaganda during times of war. He further commented that slapping Hindi-speaking people and vandalizing shops in Maharashtra is clearly not peaceful protest.

While interacting with media persons today, he mentioned that during the Kargil War, Pakistan even refused to acknowledge or receive the body of their soldier Sher Khan. Now they are paying tribute to him, which clearly indicates that he was indeed their soldier and had infiltrated Kargil under Pakistan’s directives. This proves Pakistan lied then, and their tribute now confirms his affiliation.

Regarding the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam and the "Operation Sindoor," Sh.Vij said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had sent delegations to various countries and personally visited many to reveal the truth. During the BRICS Summit, the PM reiterated India’s resolve to fight terrorism and also condemned the massacre carried out by terrorists in Pahalgam.

If slapping Hindi-speaking people and breaking shops isn’t protest, then what is?

Responding to Sanjay Raut’s statement that their protest is not against Hindi but against the imposition of Hindi, Vij retorted that people affiliated with the Thackeray group are slapping Hindi speaking people, breaking their shops, and telling them to leave. He questioned, “Is this not opposition?”

Vij also asked whether only Marathi should be spoken in Maharashtra. He pointed out that the Bhagavad Gita is written in Sanskrit and the Quran in Arabic—does that mean reading these texts will be banned in Maharashtra? Will temples and mosques be shut down? He said that opposing language is akin to opposing the federal structure of the nation, and those who oppose Hindi are actually opposing India itself, as Hindi is the national language of India.

Prescribing medicines from outside the Heart Center will not be tolerated”

Regarding the incident of doctors at Ambala’s Civil Hospital Heart Care unit prescribing external (non-hospital) medicines, Vij said he has taken strict notice. He instructed the Heart Center authorities and the PMO that such practices will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He also said that any patient admitted to the Heart Center must have a Civil Hospital card made. This ensures that after procedures like stent insertion or surgery, the patient can continue receiving free medication from the Civil Hospital.
