Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that in the last decade, the Mewat region has experienced remarkable progress in various sectors, including health, water supply, road infrastructure, and education. He added that to further accelerate development in Mewat, a meeting of the Mewat Development Board (MDB) would be convened soon.
The Chief Minister was responding to a question raised during the Question Hour in the ongoing Budget Session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today. He emphasized that the contrast between Mewat's development before 2014 and the progress made over the last ten years is evident.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has declared Nuh as an aspirational district, under which significant efforts have been made in various sectors including health, education, agriculture, water resources, basic infrastructure, financial inclusion, and skill development.
