CISF Unit Punjab and Haryana Civil Secretariat, Chandigarh, organised a mega blood donation camp in collaboration with Vishwas Foundation Panchkula, Red Cross Society Chandigarh, Agarwal Eye Hospital, Chandigarh and the Transfusion Department of PGIMER Chandigarh on the occasion of 56th CISF Raising Day.
The camp was inaugurated with traditional lamp lighting by the Special Secretary to Government, Haryana, Secretariat Establishment,Sh. Samwartak Singh.The primary objective of this camp was to promote blood donation as a noble cause and encourage citizens to contribute to societal welfare.
The event was held at the Punjab and Haryana Civil Secretariat, Chandigarh, to facilitate maximum participation and enable a large number of individuals to
be a part of this noble cause. Agarwal Eye Hospital, Chandigarh, conducted complimentary eye checkups for all participants and employees of the secretariat, testing their visual acuity and promoting eye health awareness.
Samwartak Singh appreciated the CISF's social role in promoting societal welfare and highlighted the benefits of blood donation. Dr. Sangeeta from PGIMER Chandigarh briefed personnel on the benefits and guidelines for blood donation.
