Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday (June 15) felicitated students who successfully cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025 during a special ceremony held at Punjab Bhawan. The event was attended by the successful candidates along with their parents, as the state government celebrated their achievements.
Several aspirants from Punjab delivered outstanding performances in this year's examination. Simrandeep Kaur from Nabha in Patiala district emerged as the state's highest-ranked candidate by securing All India Rank (AIR) 15. Belonging to a farmer's family, she became the Punjab topper in the prestigious examination.

Rasneet Kaur from Rajpura in Patiala district secured AIR 51, achieving success in her very first attempt without any coaching support. The daughter of a power department lineman, her achievement has drawn widespread appreciation.
Sunavardeep Singh Mason from Faridkot secured AIR 76 in his third attempt. Currently serving as a Grade-B Inspector in the Punjab Cooperation Department, he successfully balanced his government job with UPSC preparation.
Among other top performers, Navneet Kaur from Bathinda secured AIR 111, Aakriti Singla from Fazilka achieved AIR 122, while Sidak Singh from Phagwara in Kapurthala district secured AIR 157 after his sixth attempt.
From Jalandhar, Arushi earned AIR 184 after preparing through a district administration-run free coaching programme, highlighting the impact of government-supported educational initiatives.
Jaskaran Singh from Bhammadi village in Khanna, Ludhiana district, secured AIR 240, while Kritika Chaudhary from Mohali achieved AIR 312. Kritika's father, Rajeev Kumar Gurjar, serves as an Inspector in Punjab Police, and her family credited discipline and education for her success.
Speaking about her journey, Kritika described the UPSC examination as not only academically demanding but also mentally challenging, emphasizing the importance of consistency and perseverance throughout the preparation process.
Meanwhile, Larson Singla from Hoshiarpur secured AIR 936. He is currently serving as a Tehsildar in Punjab and added another achievement to his administrative career by clearing the prestigious examination.
