Air pollution continues to worsen in Delhi, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 380 near India Gate on Saturday. In view of deteriorating air quality, authorities have implemented Stage III of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) across Delhi-NCR.

Under the restrictions, schools up to Class 5 will conduct classes in hybrid mode, allowing students to attend either online or offline.

Meanwhile, winter has begun making its presence felt in Madhya Pradesh alongside Diwali celebrations. Indore recorded a minimum temperature of 12 degrees Celsius on Friday night. Temperatures in Shahdol and Damoh stood at 12.2 degrees Celsius, while Bhopal and Pachmarhi recorded 12.8 degrees Celsius.

According to weather forecasts, temperatures across the state are expected to drop by another 1 to 2 degrees Celsius over the next four days, bringing further relief from the lingering warmth.

Like Delhi, Rajasthan is also witnessing deteriorating air quality. On Saturday morning, Bhiwadi in Khairthal-Tijara district recorded an AQI above 300, indicating severely polluted air.

Meanwhile, partly cloudy conditions prevailed in several districts, including Ajmer. Alwar witnessed morning fog, while temperatures in western Rajasthan remained between 35 and 38 degrees Celsius on Friday.
