Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has once again announced the closure of 16 Metro stations, with entry and exit suspended from 7:30 AM on Wednesday until further orders.

According to the DMRC, Metro train services will continue to operate through the affected stations, but passengers will not be allowed to enter or exit at these locations. The decision has been taken as part of operational and security measures.

The stations where entry and exit remain closed are:

  • Lok Kalyan Marg, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Ramakrishna Ashram Marg, Barakhamba Road, Supreme Court, Seva Teerth, Janpath, Mandi House, Central Secretariat, ITO, Delhi Gate, Indraprastha, Khan Market, Jor Bagh, Shivaji Stadium

DMRC clarified that interchange facilities will remain operational at Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House, and Central Secretariat, allowing passengers to switch Metro lines without exiting the stations.

Metro operator has appealed to commuters to cooperate with the restrictions and plan their journeys in advance, keeping the station closures in mind. Passengers have also been advised to follow official DMRC updates for any further changes to Metro services.
