Punjab Newsline, Moga, April 13-
In a proactive step towards tackling the growing concern of drug abuse among youth, the District Administration Moga has launched the "Yuddh Nasheyan Virudh" campaign. As part of this initiative, officers from District Moga will adopt various secondary schools across the district to identify and prevent drug abuse at an early stage.
While giving this information, Deputy Commissioner Sagar Setia said that 237 senior secondary schools have been adapted to 24 district level officers, including him and both Additional Deputy Commissioners.
He elaborated that the campaign aimed to foster a collaborative effort between the district administration, schools, teachers, students, and parents to create a safe and supportive environment for children. By doing so, the administration hopes to curb the menace of drug abuse, which often begins due to bad company or influence.
