HEC Pankaj Agarwal said in a meeting with all DC's cum District Election Officers of the state through video conferencing from Chandigarh, that the Election Commission of India will visit Haryana on August 12 and 13. They will review the preparations for the upcoming assembly elections.
He said that engineers from Bharat Electronics Limited are conducting the first-level checking of EVMs in all 22 districts of the state. All district election officers must ensure that representatives of recognised political parties in the state are present during the checking.
Pankaj Agarwal directed all district election officers to direct BLOs and registration officers to ensure no forms are pending with them.
