Major Boost to Urban Development with Sewerage, Road, and Wastewater Projects in Haryana Towns

Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh, December 6–

Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini has granted administrative approval for a series of major infrastructure projects totaling Rs. 4549.19 lakh in Barwala, Kaithal, and Kalanwali towns. These initiatives are designed to enhance the sewerage system, restore roads, and upgrade essential urban facilities, underscoring the government’s ongoing commitment to improving public services and urban infrastructure.

A comprehensive project has been approved to install sewerage lines in uncovered streets across the identified areas of Barwala Town. This initiative will extend to several wards, including Ward 1, Ward 2, Ward 8, Ward 10, and Ward 16. By addressing gaps in the existing sewerage network, the project aims to provide efficient wastewater management, benefitting a large portion of the town’s population. The project has been allocated Rs. 470.04 lakh.

To ensure the efficient operation of the current sewerage infrastructure, advanced Super Suction De-Silting Machines will be used to clean the sewer lines across Barwala Town.
