Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh, November 30 –
Haryana Industry and Commerce Minister, Rao Narbir Singh said that residential societies which have deposited 80 percent of their property tax with the corporation will be allocated Rs 10 lakh to use for development works at their level. He urged residents of these societies to pay their property tax so that the corporation can further accelerate development efforts in their areas.
The Minister made these remarks while addressing the Samadhan Shivir held at Shobha City in Sector 108, Dwarka Expressway, Gurugram, on Saturday. He assured the residents that going forward, their suggestions would be given top priority for any development work in their area. During the event, he also conducted a public hearing for 20 major issues concerning 32 societies in the city and provided necessary instructions to the concerned officials.
He stated that Badshahpur Assembly is the largest assembly in Haryana. Given this, it is not feasible for him to visit every society, but addressing the people’s concerns will always remain his priority.
