The echo of the song ‘Jai Haryana, Viksit Haryana’ was heard on the Kartavya path of Delhi on Tuesday. The occasion was the full dress rehearsal of the Republic Day celebrations in the capital, in which the tableau of Haryana state has had the honor of participating for the third consecutive time. This year the theme of Haryana's tableau is 'Mera Parivar-Meri Pehchan' (Family ID).
Full dress rehearsal of the Republic Day Parade was organized on the Kartavya path of Delhi. Tableaux of various ministries of the Central Government and different states of the country were also displayed. Haryana's tableau was also part of this rehearsal. Along with the tableau of Haryana, female artistes in traditional Haryanvi costumes were seen performing Haryanvi dance on both sides. During this, a song was also played in Haryanvi dialect. The lyrics of this song are, 'Jai Haryana, Viksit Haryana, Jai Jai Haryana…..
According to the state government’s spokesperson, Haryana's tableau has been included in the Republic Day parade organized at the national level for the third consecutive time this year. The front part ( tractor) of the tableau depicts a school going girl holding a tablet in her hands, which symbolises how Haryana is promoting digital education. It may be recalled that under government’s ambitious e-learning program, ‘e-Adhigam’, the state government had set a record by distributing free tablets to more than five lakh students studying in classes 10th to 12th in government schools. The government's vision behind this e-learning program was to enable the students studying in government schools to learn digitally. Apart from this, front part of the tableau also shows, the facilities and services made available easily to the common masses through Parivar Pehchan Patra(PPP). For example, according to the data recorded in the family identity card, eligible families are easily identified to provide benefits of government sponsored welfare schemes and are able to get ration, pension, old age honor allowance, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, scholarship, subsidy etc in a hassle free manner, without even applying for it.
For the front portion on the rear part of the tableau (trailer), women farmer from Haryana can be seen doing floriculture, which is a symbol of modern farming as well as women empowerment and it’s the need of hour to increase income from farming. The spokesperson said that in the middle part of this portion of the tableau, the headquarter building of International Solar Alliance (ISA) established in Haryana has been shown. The ISA headquarters are located near village Gwal Pahari in Gurugram district. The ISA, initiated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, provides a platform for cooperation among solar resource rich countries to meet their specific energy needs. The middle and last part of the tableau depicts improvement in infrastructure in Haryana, which mainly includes better road network , especially highways, and metro rail services. The unique model of urban development of the state has also got a place in this tableau. Apart from this, increasing industrialization has also been shown due to the industrial friendly environment and platform of ease of doing business created in the state. In the lower part of this portion of the tableau, on both sides, the excavation being done in Rakhigarhi of Hisar has been shown, where remains of Indus Valley Civilization and Pre-Harappan Civilization have been found.
People watching the national level Republic Day Parade to be held on 26th January on the Kartavya path of Delhi will get a chance to see this tableau of Haryana, which is the combination of Haryana’s culture and modernity. Since this Republic Day parade is watched by thousands of people in the country and the world, the message of Haryana's culture and how infrastructure, agriculture and industrialization have improved over a period of time due to the vision of Chief Minister Sh Manohar Lal will project the glory of Haryana in India and abroad.
