Ladakh: Tank stuck in the river, 5 soldiers died

A major accident has happened in Nyoma-Chushul area of Ladakh. According to the information, 5 army soldiers were swept away and died due to the rising water level of the Shyok river on the Line of Actual Control. It is being told that a Junior Commissioned Officer was also among them. This accident happened last night at around 1 o'clock and its information has come to light today. According to the information, the army soldiers who were swept away in the river were returning late night in a T-72 tank after a military exercise and were crossing the Shyok river, when the water level suddenly increased. The bodies of all five soldiers have been found. They have been identified as Risaldar MR K Reddy, Dafadar Bhupendra Negi, Lance Dafadar Akdum Tayyabam, Havildar A Khan and Nagaraj P. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has expressed grief over this incident.
