A major rail accident has been averted in Rajasthan. According to the information, iron rods have been found on the railway track here. On this, officials said on Tuesday that a possible rail accident was averted in Dungarpur district of Rajasthan, when the loco pilot saw iron rods on the track. The incident happened on Sunday night, shortly after the Asarwa-Jaipur Express train left Dungarpur station. The train left at around 11 pm, after four kilometers the loco pilot saw the rods on the track and applied the brakes. He told that the train stopped just before the rods. Dungarpur Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajkumar Rajora said that a case has been registered against unknown people and the matter is being investigated. He said that there were six iron rods on the track. It is worth noting that in the past too, rail accidents have happened at many places in the country.
