A young man died after allegedly jumping from the 43rd floor of the Supernova Society in Sector 94, Noida, triggering panic among residents. The fall caused severe injuries, and the victim died at the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Possible Jain, son of Vinay Kumar Jain, a resident of Manesar in Gurugram. According to police, he had come to stay alone in a room at the Spyra building for a day.
Police said Jain allegedly climbed onto the balcony railing and jumped. A video purportedly showing the incident has also surfaced online.
After receiving information about the incident, a police team reached the spot and inspected the premises. The forensic science laboratory (FSL) team also examined the scene and collected relevant evidence. Police inspected the room and balcony where the incident allegedly occurred.
The authorities are also examining CCTV footage from cameras installed around the building to establish the sequence of events before and after the incident.
During the preliminary inquiry, police gathered information from people present in the vicinity suggesting that the deceased may have been under mental stress. However, the exact circumstances behind the incident have not yet been established.
Police have informed the deceased’s family members. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and further action will be taken based on the post-mortem findings and the evidence gathered during the investigation.
