Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh, December 19 –
Haryana cabinet minister Anil Vij commended the selfless service of social and religious organizations, emphasizing that these organizations not only fulfill their duties but also make a positive contribution to society. He referred to these organizations as "Amrit Ke Bhagidaar" and called their efforts truly inspiring. Vij was speaking at the Utkrishta Seva Samman Samaroh held in Ambala today.
Vij said that while our constitution and laws provide provisions for punishing wrongdoers, there is no mention of any reward for those who do good work. In such circumstances, it is crucial to encourage these institutions. He described social service as the need of the hour, emphasizing that every person seeks joy and happiness in life, and this joy can be found by helping others.
On this occasion, the Minister also mentioned that if the human race were to be classified, there would be four types of people. The first group consists of those who dedicate their lives to thinking about others. The second group includes those who balance thinking about themselves with taking time from their schedules to work for others—whom he considers the best, and this group includes these institutions.
