BJP leader Narendra Modi is taking oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third time today. Activities have intensified regarding who will be made a minister in the Narendra Modi 3.0 cabinet. More than 9,000 people, including leaders and dignitaries from neighboring countries, are expected to attend the ceremony. The names of Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari have been approved for the ministerial post in the cabinet. They are likely to retain their respective departments.
According to sources, Ravneet Singh Bittu, who lost the Lok Sabha elections from Ludhiana, has also received a call from the Modi office. That is, he can also get a place in Modi 3.0. Although Ravneet Bittu lost the Lok Sabha elections, there is speculation that BJP can give Ravneet Bittu a place in the cabinet by making him a Rajya Sabha MP.
Similarly, Hardeep Singh Puri from Punjab can also get a place in the cabinet. Similarly, former Indian Ambassador to the US Taranjit Singh Sandhu has also received a call for the cabinet. He joined the BJP on Tuesday 19 March 2024 before the Lok Sabha elections. There was a buzz that the party had made him a Lok Sabha candidate from Amritsar.
Taranjit is a resident of Tarn Taran in Punjab. He is a retired Indian diplomat. He served as India's High Commissioner to Sri Lanka and India's 28th Ambassador to the US.
