Water is being released from the dams even before the onset of monsoon. According to the information, BBMB has also taken a big decision in this regard. Water has been released in the Sutlej river and this has increased the water level of Gobind Sagar lake. On the other hand, the gates of Nangal Dam have been opened and a total of 4500 cusecs of water is reported to be released.

It is worth noting that today i.e. on June 13, 26500 cusecs of water will be released from Bhakra Dam. Let us tell you that this water has been released from Bhakra Dam at 6 am. The Deputy Chief Water Regulation of BBMB has issued a letter to various officials and given advance information about this. On the other hand, the administration has asked the Tehsildars of Sri Anandpur Sahib and Nangal to give information about the villages near the Sutlej river. Along with this, an appeal has been made not to pay attention to any kind of rumor. Do not go to the banks of rivers as much as possible.
