According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks will remain closed for 14 days in April 2026, including national holidays, regional festivals, and weekly offs.

  • Second and fourth Saturdays
  • All Sundays

The RBI has reiterated that:

“The second and fourth Saturdays shall be public holidays for all Scheduled and Non-Scheduled Banks.”
