- No alliance with Akali Dal or any other party; focus on strengthening grassroots base

The national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party Nitin Nabin has made a significant announcement regarding the Punjab Assembly Elections 2027, stating that the party will contest the polls independently without forming any alliance.
Nabin emphasized that the BJP is actively working to strengthen its organizational structure in Punjab while expanding its support base. He noted that the party has been preparing the groundwork in the state for a long time and that voters will witness a “new form” of the BJP in the upcoming elections.
He also made it clear that there are no plans for an alliance with the Shiromani Akali Dal or any other political party.
Highlighting the importance of women voters, Nabin expressed confidence that the BJP is gaining their support. He said that women are playing a crucial role in the party’s expansion strategy, as the BJP continues efforts to reach every section of society.
