Cabinet Minister Rana inaugurates building of government school in Yamunanagar

Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh, November 23-

Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana inaugurated a newly constructed building of Government Adarsh Sanskriti Senior Secondary School, Buria, in Yamunanagar today.

Rana said the state government has launched 'Chirag Yojana' to fulfil the dream of poor children to study in private schools. To provide higher education facilities to sisters and daughters, the government has established a college within a radius of 20 kilometers. Hundreds of new colleges have been opened in the state. On the occasion, the minister also planted a sapling.

He said education makes you a better person and teaches you many skills. Education also improves the economic growth of the country and helps in building a better society for the citizens of the country.

The Cabinet Minister announced to give an amount of Rs 2 lakh to promote sports activities and cultural programmes.

On this occasion, Yamunanagar MLA Sh. Ghanshyam Das Arora, Haryana Staff Selection Commission member Sh. Amar Singh and other dignitaries were present.
