Haryana Health Minister Arti Singh Rao said that the state government is working towards an AIDS-free future. In line with this objective, the state government is providing free CT scans and MRI facilities for AIDS patients, in addition to offering monthly financial assistance of Rs. 2,250 to 11,325 patients.

She also flagged off awareness vehicles from the event venue. During the event, the Health Minister praised the exhibition showcasing medical services.
She said that the state government is committed to eradicate AIDS from the state. Free testing and treatment for AIDS are available through government initiatives, and the confidentiality of patient information is maintained at all times. She urged the youth to be aware and to stay informed about preventive measures against such diseases, while also encouraging them to spread awareness among others. She further stated that ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) workers are the backbone of this fight, and without them, ground-level changes in the fight against this disease would not be possible.
