Haryana Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh and CM Nayab Singh Saini have appealed to the people of the State to contribute voluntarily and generously on the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day on December 07, for the noble cause of rehabilitating war widows, disabled soldiers, and needy ex-servicemen.
In a joint appeal issued by the Governor and the Chief Minister, it has been stated: “As every year, this year too, our nation will observe Armed Forces Flag Day on December 07, 2025 in honour of the Armed Forces. This solemn occasion gives us an opportunity to remember the brave soldiers of our Armed Forces who sacrificed their lives for the defence of our motherland. This is the day when we pay homage to the martyrs of our country, express our solidarity with the Armed Forces, and reassure war widows, disabled soldiers, and needy ex-servicemen that the entire nation stands with them.
Flag Day offers all citizens a golden opportunity to express respect and solidarity with serving and retired soldiers of the Armed Forces and their families by contributing generously towards their welfare. The people of Haryana have always held brave soldiers and their families in the highest regard. Therefore, on this occasion, we earnestly appeal to all residents of Haryana to contribute voluntarily and open-heartedly towards the noble cause of rehabilitating war widows, disabled soldiers, and needy ex-servicemen, and make Armed Forces Flag Day 2025 a success.”
