9-Year Old Girl Attacked by Pack of Stray Dogs in Fazilka, Injured

A nine-year-old girl was attacked by a pack of eight stray dogs while she was on her way out to play from her home. Frightened by the sudden attack, the girl tried to run, but the dogs chased her, knocked her to the ground, and bit her on the legs, leaving her injured.

The incident took place in Vijay Colony of Fazilka and was captured on a CCTV camera installed in the area. The footage clearly shows the dogs suddenly rushing towards the girl as she walks through the lane. Panic-stricken, she attempts to escape, but the dogs surround and attack her.

A man present at the scene immediately intervened and managed to rescue the girl from the dogs, preventing further harm.The injured child was rushed to a government hospital, where she is currently undergoing treatment. 

Local residents demanded to find a permanent solution to the stray dog problem

Following this incident, an atmosphere of panic and outrage prevails among the residents of the area. Local residents have demanded that the administration find a permanent solution to the stray dog problem. Municipal Council President Surinder Sachdeva stated that, in view of this issue, a resolution has already been passed. A dog shelter will be constructed shortly, which will have the capacity to accommodate approximately three thousand stray dogs.
