Maruti Suzuki has increased the prices of several of its passenger vehicle models, with the revised rates coming into effect from June 14, 2026. The company cited rising input costs and persistent inflationary pressure as the primary reasons behind the price hike.
Among the updated models, the Wagon R and Eeco have witnessed the smallest increase of ₹5,000, while the electric SUV E Vitara has received the highest price revision of up to ₹30,000.
According to the automaker, the continuous rise in production and operational costs has made it necessary to pass on a portion of the additional burden to customers through higher vehicle prices.
Maruti Suzuki is not the only manufacturer to revise prices. Other major automakers, including Hyundai, Kia, and Tata Motors, have also announced price hikes in recent weeks, citing similar reasons such as increased raw material costs and inflation.
The company currently offers a wide range of vehicles in the Indian market, spanning hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs, MPVs, and electric vehicles. Its popular lineup includes the Alto K10, Wagon R, Celerio, S-Presso, Swift, Dzire, Brezza, Grand Vitara, Ertiga, Invicto, Jimny, and the newly launched E Vitara.
