A massive fire broke out in four furniture warehouses in Sector 89 of Gurugram on Monday, triggering panic in the surrounding area. The fire spread rapidly, engulfing all the warehouses and filling the area with thick plumes of smoke.

Upon receiving the information, five fire brigade vehicles rushed to the spot and launched an operation to douse the flames. Efforts to bring the fire under control were ongoing at the time of reporting.

According to initial reports, the intensity of the fire was so high that all four warehouses were completely affected, raising fears of heavy financial losses. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far.

The warehouses were owned and operated by different individuals, including Zaid Khan, a resident of Uttar Pradesh. Others associated with the warehouses include Javed, Shad, Naushad, Zuber, Zahir, Asgar Khan, and Shamsher Khan. The warehouses were stocked with both old and new furniture, which contributed to the rapid spread of the fire.

Preliminary investigations suggest that a short circuit may have caused the fire. However, the exact cause is yet to be determined, and further investigation is underway.
