A flight from London to Dhaka witnessed dramatic scenes after a dispute between two passengers escalated into a physical fight mid-air, according to reports. A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media, drawing widespread attention.
According to the Dhaka Tribune, the altercation occurred aboard a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight operating from London to Dhaka. What began as a verbal argument reportedly turned into a violent confrontation, with the two passengers exchanging punches and kicks.
Fellow passengers attempted to intervene and separate the men, but the fight continued for some time before they were finally brought under control. During the scuffle, one of the passengers reportedly had his T-shirt torn.
The incident created panic inside the aircraft, with several passengers left shaken by the unexpected violence. Reports said the pilot responded promptly after being informed of the situation and took steps to calm the passengers and restore order on board.
Reacting to the reports, Biman Bangladesh Airlines General Manager Mahbubuddin Ahmed said he was not aware of the incident and would seek further details. The airline has not issued any detailed statement on the matter and has denied any direct role in the altercation.
No injuries were immediately reported, and it remains unclear whether any action was taken against the passengers after the flight landed in Dhaka.
