Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for a major attack on a Pakistani military convoy in the Mastung district of Balochistan, alleging that more than 45 security personnel were killed and dozens injured. Pakistani authorities have confirmed that the convoy was targeted but have not released any official casualty figures.
According to a statement issued by BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch, the attack was carried out on Thursday in the Khadkucha area of Mastung by the group's "Fateh Squad." The BLA described the operation as a coordinated and intense assault targeting Pakistani military personnel, their security escorts, and buses carrying reinforcements that arrived at the scene.

The armed group claimed that, based on preliminary reports, over 45 Pakistani soldiers were killed during the operation, with dozens more wounded. It further alleged that the death toll could rise as information from the battlefield continues to emerge. These claims have not been independently verified.
While Pakistani officials acknowledged that the military convoy came under attack, they have not commented on the number of casualties.
Meanwhile, local sources cited by The Balochistan Post reported that two civilians were killed and 11 others, including four children, were injured after Pakistani forces allegedly opened fire in the Khadkucha area following the attack.
