Veteran Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor has strongly reacted to false rumours about his death that recently surfaced on social media. The fake reports caused concern among fans and reportedly left the actor upset.
The actor has now issued a clarification through a video shared on Instagram, dismissing all claims about his demise. In the video, Shakti Kapoor appeared fit and healthy while assuring fans that he is absolutely fine.
Addressing the rumours, he said, “Hello everyone, the rumours about my death are completely false. I am healthy and happy. Please ignore them. I am going to file a complaint, because this is not right.”
The veteran actor also expressed anger over the spread of fake news, saying such misinformation creates unnecessary panic and mental stress for family members, friends, and well-wishers.
Shakti Kapoor, father of Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor, is known for his long and successful career in Hindi cinema, with memorable performances in both comic and villainous roles.
