Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a crucial meeting with all Chief Ministers on March 27 via video conferencing to discuss the emerging situation due to the ongoing conflict involving Iran.

Earlier, while addressing the Rajya Sabha on March 24, the Prime Minister warned that if tensions between the US-Israel bloc and Iran continue, it could have serious global and domestic repercussions. He described the coming period as a major test for the country and called for collective efforts, urging states to work together as “Team India.”

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has reassured citizens that there is no shortage of petrol, diesel, or LPG in the country. The ministry stated that India has sufficient crude oil reserves to meet demand for up to 60 days, regardless of international developments.

The government has also rejected claims of fuel shortages circulating on social media, calling them “misleading” and “deliberate propaganda.” Officials warned that such rumours are aimed at triggering panic buying and disrupting normal supply systems.
