A case involving a scooty and a revolver found near a canal in Haryana’s Panipat has taken a serious turn. It has been revealed that a Class 12 student had a dispute with another boy during a tuition session on Tuesday evening. During the altercation, he allegedly fired two shots using his father’s licensed revolver. Fortunately, no one was injured.

On Wednesday morning, his scooty was found parked near the Narayana to Namunda canal bridge in Samalkha, with the key still in the ignition. The revolver and his bag were also found lying nearby.
Police suspect that the boy may have jumped into the canal. Upon receiving the information, police teams and divers rushed to the spot and launched a search operation in the canal.
Samalkha Police station SHO Deepak Kumar stated that all items have been taken into custody. A search operation is underway in nearby areas to determine whether the boy jumped into the canal.
