Bathinda Police Bust Prostitution Racket, 8 Held with 4,680 Banned Capsules

The Kotwali Police in Bathinda district have successfully arrested eight individuals allegedly involved in a prostitution racket. During the operation, the police also recovered 4,680 banned capsules from the accused.

According to reports, the accused had rented a hotel and were running an illegal prostitution business. Acting on a tip-off, the police conducted a raid, registered a case, and initiated further legal proceedings.

DSP City One, Amritpal Bhatti, stated that the police received information about illegal activities being carried out. The accused were reportedly luring innocent girls and forcing them into prostitution.

Based on the intelligence, a police team led by Kotwali Station in-charge Inspector Parvinder Singh carried out the raid. During the operation, the police arrested Gurlal Singh, his brother Gurbaz Singh, Ranjit Singh, Sachin, Gurmeet Singh, Narendra Singh, Satnam Singh, and Mani Kumar. A case has been registered against all the accused, and further investigation is underway.
