Haryana cabinet minister, Vipul Goel inaugurated the ‘Sanjha Bazaar’ in Rohtak on Saturday under the National Urban Livelihoods Mission (NULM) to support self-help groups.
Addressing the members of the SHGs at the event, Sh. Goel stated that the ‘Sanjha Bazaar’ is a significant step towards achieving Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi’s goal of empowering 3 crore “Lakhpati Didis”. The marketplace provides these groups with a prime location to sell their products. A total of 13 self-help groups have been allotted 10 shops in the ‘Sanjha Bazaar’.
Apart from this, Sh.Goel performed the Bhoomi Pujan and foundation stone laying ceremony for Arogya Kendra of the Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust on Civil Road. He said that social service is possible only with collective efforts. Bharat Vikas Parishad has been contributing significantly to religious and social causes for the past 60 years. With the opening of this charitable trust, it will benefit the underprivileged members of society. To support the project, Sh. Goel announced a contribution of Rs. 25 lakh from his discretionary fund.
