Special arrangements made for live streaming through efforts of the Public Relations Department

For the first time, the Haryana government organised live streaming of the International Gita Mahotsav at five major pilgrimage sites across the country. Deputy Commissioner, Kurukshetra, Neha Singh said that the Mahotsav’s events, held from December 5 to 11, 2024 were broadcast online, allowing thousands of devotees visiting these sites to witness the celebrations. Initiative was led by the Department of Information, Public Relations, Languages, and Culture ensuring the Mahotsav reached devotees beyond Kurukshetra. Visitors commended Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini for the efforts.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the International Gita Mahotsav has gained immense popularity not only in India but across the globe. Every devotee is eager to join this festival, with lakhs traveling to Kurukshetra in person and crores joining online through platforms like websites, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. This year, as part of a unique initiative, the Public Relations Department sent five promotional Chariots to key pilgrimage sites, including Shree Jagannatha Temple in Odisha, Shri Banke Bihari Mandir, Vrindavan (UP), Krishna Janmasthan Temple in Mathura, Dwarkadhish Temple in Gujarat, and Thikana Mandir Shree Govind Dev Ji in Jaipur (Rajasthan).
