Department’s five-day exhibition showcases handmade products by small entrepreneurs

As part of the International Gita Mahotsav, the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC),Ambala, under the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises,Government of India, and KVIC, is organising a five-day exhibition at Haryana Pavilion, near Purshottampura Bagh, from December 12 to16,2024. The exhibition features earthen utensils and handmade herbal products, where visitors are learning about their benefits and also showing great interest in purchasing them.
Assistant Director of Khadi and Village Industries(KVIC), Ambala, Rakesh Sharma said that this exhibition aligns with the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi’s vision of empowering artisans and promoting self-employment. The aim is to provide a marketing platform to artisans and organisations associated with Khadi and Village Industries development schemes, such as the Kumhar Sashaktikaran Yojana and the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP).The exhibition features 20 stalls displaying earthen utensils and herbal products handcrafted by artisans from various districts of Haryana.
