'Students should utilise their time wisely and set direction to progress in life. The efforts made by students in their academic lives are useful in every aspect of life. Knowledge and education are broad mediums of transformation.' These thoughts were expressed by Harbhajan Singh, Chief Strategy and HR at the Xavier Labour Relations Institute, New Delhi, during the 22nd foundation day celebration of Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, as the chief guest. The programme was chaired by the university's Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ajmer Singh Malik.
Harbhajan Singh said that students should carry out whatever tasks they undertake in their lives with complete dedication and honesty. On this occasion, he not only shared his life experiences but also elaborated on the various methods of short analysis and personality development for students.
Former Director of the Ministry of Rural Development, Dr. Mahipal Panwar as the keynote speaker said that higher education institutions can play an important role in the field of research. He emphasised that research is not only meant to benefit the academic world but also demands the selection of research topics with societal relevance. He discussed various aspects of communication systems and stated that by expressing themselves better, students can achieve success in their lives.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Ajmer Singh Malik said that Chaudhary Devi Lal University is continuously making new efforts towards achieving various standards of higher education. The students of the university are proving their mettle at the national level in every field.
