Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal visited Jantar Mantar on Wednesday to meet environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk, who has been on an indefinite hunger strike for the past 19 days.

Wangchuk's protest has drawn support from leaders across political parties, actors, and civil society members. His ongoing fast has become a focal point for discussions on environmental and public policy issues.

Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Dimple Yadav also visited Wangchuk at the protest site and expressed solidarity with the activist. Speaking to the media, she said the Opposition would raise several key issues during the upcoming Parliament session beginning on July 20.

Yadav said the NEET controversy would remain one of the major issues to be discussed in Parliament, adding that concerns related to students and education would also feature prominently in the Opposition's agenda.

Wangchuk's prolonged hunger strike continues to attract growing political attention as leaders from different parties visit Jantar Mantar to extend their support.
