Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra Dean Academic Affairs Prof. Anil Vashisth said that the Public Speaking competitions for students enhance their competitive skills and knowledge on various subjects. Prof. Anil Vashisth was speaking as the chief guest during the third phase of the Rostrum (Stage) competition organised at Kurukshetra University today.
He said that along with knowledge competence, a skilled speaker should be able to express their feelings and emotions in their communication. He told the students that learning from the experience of a competition by participating in it is more crucial than just winning.
Nature has endowed man with the ability to express himself through language, which distinguishes him from other living species. Just as one must understand the skill of speaking, one must also thoroughly research any subject.
