Punjabi Singer Deepa Dosanjh Passes Away in UK

Jalandhar-born Punjabi singer Deepa Dosanjh, a resident of Dosanjh Kalan, has passed away following a suspected heart attack. The popular artist, known for his hit song “Dhola Ve Dhola,” was reportedly living in Leicester, England, at the time of his demise.

Renowned Punjabi singer and composer Sukhshinder Shinda expressed grief over Dosanjh’s passing through a social media post. He wrote, “Today, the Punjabi music industry has lost a true gem.”

Deepa Dosanjh was closely associated with the Punjabi music scene as well as the UK Bhangra industry. He gained immense popularity during the 1990s with several hit tracks and became a household name with evergreen songs like “Dhola Ve Dhola.”

According to initial information, his health deteriorated suddenly, leading to his death. While reports circulating on social media and within music circles suggest a heart attack as the cause, the family has not yet officially confirmed it.

His sudden demise has left fans and the entire Punjabi artistic community in deep shock.
