Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s reception party was a star-studded affair, with the who’s who of Bollywood gracing the venue in their glamorous outfits. Among the many A-listers was Sonakshi’s Heeramandi co-star Sanjeeda Shaikh, who arrived in a pre-pleated saree and embroidered blouse in a purple hue. Her exquisite ensemble was from the popular brand Kalki Fashion’s Deme by Gabriella collection.
Sanjeeda Shaikh recently wore an exceptional purple embroidered saree that spelled pure elegance and gorgeousness. Her saree was fabricated in shimmer sequin that added the right amount of glamour to her ethnic look. But what caught the attention was the unique drape of her saree, featuring gathered pleats at the waist to create a dhoti-like effect and the heavily embellished blouse adorned with exquisite detailing such as pearls, cut-dana work, sequins, and dangling crystals. The blouse was elegantly designed with a deep neck scoop neckline and noodle straps. Its design was further complemented by a back hook-eye closure. The ruched waist also added a touch of modernity while accentuating her curves for a flattering silhouette. The pallu of her saree, neatly draped over her shoulder, fell gracefully to the ground, creating a mini train as she moved. As per the Deme by Gabriella's website, Sanjeeda’s saree, named Bertha, is priced at Rs 28,500.
Sanjeeda paired this outfit with a silver platform heels, a pair of diamond drop earrings with a ruby stone and a sparkling diamond ring. She rounded off this look with a heart-shaped clutch adorned with crystals. Talking about her hair and makeup, Sanjeeda opted for a dewy look. She accentuated her eyes with smokey eye shadow, smudged kajal on the waterline, and mascara-coated lashes. Her makeup was perfectly balanced with contouring, a hint of coral blush, plenty of highlighter for a radiant touch, and nude lipstick. She kept her hair straight and flowing.
