After the massive buzz around Dhurandhar 2 since March 19 which went on to cross ₹1000 crore in India and ₹1500 crore worldwide within 24 days the box office has now welcomed a new contender, Dacoit.
Starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles, Dacoit: A Love Story was released in cinemas worldwide on April 10. On its opening day, the film managed to cross the ₹10 crore mark globally. Interestingly, while Dhurandhar: The Revenge underperformed, Dacoit has made a promising start with an opening of over ₹5 crore in India.

According to early estimates by box office tracker Sacnilk, Dacoit earned ₹6.50 crore in India on its first day across approximately 3,800 shows. Out of this, the Hindi version contributed ₹90 lakh, while the Telugu version dominated with ₹5.60 crore.
The film’s India gross stands at ₹7.57 crore, while its worldwide earnings have reached around ₹10 crore, marking a solid opening for the action drama.
