Weather: Relief from Heat from Delhi to Rajasthan, Thunderstorm and Rain Alert in 15 States, IMD Issues Warning

Changing weather brings strong winds and rain; temperature likely to drop in several regions

Punjab Newsline, National :

There is good news for people troubled by the scorching heat across many parts of the country. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a fresh alert, stating that the weather is set to change in around 15 states, including Delhi and Rajasthan. In the coming days, strong winds, thunderstorms, and light to moderate rainfall are expected, which may lead to a noticeable drop in temperatures.

In particular, northern states such as Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan are likely to witness gusty winds along with rainfall. According to the weather department, wind speeds may range between 30 to 50 km per hour in these regions. While this will bring much-needed relief from the heat, it may also cause temporary disruptions in some areas. Meanwhile, states like Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand are also expected to experience cloudy skies and rainfall.

The IMD has advised people to remain cautious, especially to avoid open areas during strong winds and to stay in safe places. This weather shift is also significant for farmers, as it may have both positive and negative impacts on crops.

Overall, this change in weather is likely to bring relief from the intense heat, but at the same time, caution is necessary due to strong winds and rainfall. The coming days are expected to be quite important from a weather perspective.
