Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) youth wing Workers staged protests on Saturday afternoon against seven Rajya Sabha MPs who recently left the party to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
In Jalandhar party workers raised slogans outside the residence of former MP Harbhajan Singh and allegedly wrote “traitor” on the walls of his house.
AAP workers also demonstrated outside Lovely Professional University against MP Ashok Mittal, where they burned an effigy and shouted slogans such as “traitors of Punjab.”
The protesters accused seven Rajya Sabha MPs, including Harbhajan Singh, Raghav Chadha, Ashok Mittal, and Sandeep Pathak, of betraying the party by switching allegiance to the BJP.
