Actor opens up about the challenges of filming and the responsibility of donning a Navy officer’s uniform
Actor Ahan Shetty shared that his experience shooting the upcoming film “Border 2” with Diljit Dosanjh was truly special. During the shoot, both actors were seen in uniform, preparing for a scene amid an outdoor setup. Diljit’s team shared BTS (behind-the-scenes) pictures from the shoot on Instagram, showing Ahan and Diljit discussing the scene while rehearsing.
The Instagram post was captioned:
“Dosanjh Saab X Shetty Saab… Almost 4 days to go for Border 2. Advance bookings for Border 2 open tomorrow.”
Ahan, in his Instagram story, spoke about the physically demanding nature of the shoot. He admitted that while filming was thoroughly enjoyable, the next day brought its share of soreness. He wrote:
“Had the best time shooting this, but the soreness the next day wasn’t so great.”
The film “Border 2”, based on the 1971 war and certain true events, is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, in association with J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films. The production team includes Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, and the film is directed by Anurag Singh. The release date is set for January 23.
In the film, Ahan Shetty will play Lt. Cdr. Joseph Pius Alfred Noronha, a brave officer of the Indian Navy during the 1971 conflict. In December, the actor explained that the uniform he wears in the film represents far more than just a costume. He said:
“Wearing the uniform carries a sense of responsibility. I wanted the look to reflect the honesty and discipline of a Navy officer.”
Ahan also mentioned that the encouragement from audiences motivates him to give his absolute best in the film. He believes that when people watch “Border 2” on the big screen, they will feel the sincerity and dedication behind his performance.
The film has already created a buzz among fans, with the poster and BTS videos shared on social media adding to the excitement. Audiences are eagerly awaiting the film, which promises action-packed sequences and an emotionally engaging portrayal of heroism.
