Chandigarh’s Saupin's School in Sector-32 received a bomb threat via email, triggering an immediate security response. Soon after the alert, police teams, a bomb disposal squad, and fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and cordoned off the school premises to begin a thorough search operation.

At the time of the incident, students had just finished their prayer session and were inside their classrooms. The sudden arrival of a large police force caused panic among students and staff. However, police officials quickly urged everyone to remain calm and cooperate with the ongoing safety procedures. Security was tightened both inside and outside the school as a precautionary measure.

Extensive Search Operation Underway

The bomb disposal squad, along with police teams, began a detailed inspection of every corner of the school. Classrooms, corridors, parking areas, storage rooms, and open spaces are being carefully searched using specialized equipment to detect any suspicious object. Fire brigade teams have also been deployed at the site to handle any emergency situation if required.

Meanwhile, the cyber cell is working to trace the sender of the threatening email, including identifying the source and location. Officials have stated that the matter is being treated with utmost seriousness and all possible angles are under investigation.
