Senior leader Raghav Chadha has reportedly joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday, marking a notable shift in the political landscape. In addition to Raghav, Sandeep Pathak, Ashok Mittal, Harbhajan Singh, Vikramjit Singh Sahney and Rajinder Gupta along with AAP's Rajya Sabha MP from Delhi, Swati Maliwal also joined the BJP.
After leaving the AAP to join the BJP, Raghav Chadha, Sandeep Pathak, and Ashok Mittal arrived at the BJP headquarters. There, the trio met with BJP President Nitin Nabin. They were welcomed with bouquets and offered sweets to mark the occasion. This was followed by a formal photo session.
The event drew attention from political circles, with party members expressing enthusiasm over Chadha’s inclusion. Leaders present on the occasion described it as a moment of strengthening for the party’s organisational structure and outreach.
Following the formal induction, Chadha acknowledged the support extended by the party leadership and expressed optimism about his new political journey. The development is being seen as a strategic boost for the BJP, especially ahead of upcoming political engagements.
